Turkey has come under the influence of rainy weather that will last for 10 days. Meteorology General Directorate meteorology expert Murat Acar provided information about the expected weather conditions in the country. Acar recalled that they stated Turkey would be affected by rainy and cool weather coming from the Balkans, saying, "A rainy system is coming, but since it will descend to the Mediterranean, it will come in mild. Temperatures were above the seasonal norms, but with the rain, they will drop to around the seasonal norms." he said. RAINY WEATHER WILL BE EFFECTIVE ON FRIDAY AND THE WEEKENDMurat Acar stated that the rainy system started today and will show itself mainly tomorrow and over the weekend. Acar expressed that the rains will be strong in the southern Marmara, Western Black Sea, and Eastern Mediterranean tomorrow, saying, "The rainy system will show itself a bit more on Saturday. It will spread over a wider area. Strong rains are expected in the coastal Aegean region and in Antalya and the Eastern Mediterranean coasts." he said. "IT WILL CONTINUE FOR 10 DAYS"Acar mentioned that the rains will shift eastward on Sunday and Monday, indicating that the Southeastern Anatolia Region and the southern part of Eastern Anatolia will be significantly affected by the rains. Acar stated, "In places where it rains, temperatures in the Aegean and Marmara may drop below seasonal norms, but we do not expect much cold." He noted that Turkey will be under the influence of this rainy system until Tuesday, but they expect a new rainy system to arrive on Thursday, stating, "Rains will continue in the upcoming 10-day period. The expected rains in the Aegean and Mediterranean on Saturday and Sunday have a high probability of causing floods and waterlogging. We will publish our warnings regarding this." he said. HERE ARE THE CITIES EXPECTED TO SEE SNOWFALLAcar also noted the following regarding the expected snowfall in the country: "We do not expect snowfall in city centers. Only next week, there is a possibility of snow in our cities such as Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan, Van, the highlands of Hakkari, Erzincan, and Tunceli. We do not expect snowfall in the inner and western parts of the country."
