The Central Referee Committee officially announced that experienced referee Yaşar Kemal Uğurlu has retired from refereeing. Uğurlu's classification had previously been downgraded.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT RELEASED

In a statement made by the MHK, it was said, "Yaşar Kemal Uğurlu, who started his career in 2002 and officiated a total of 576 matches in professional leagues in Turkey until 2025, has retired from refereeing. Uğurlu, who successfully represented our country abroad as a FIFA-licensed referee between 2021 and 2023, officiated 230 matches in the Super League as a top-class referee since 2012. We thank Yaşar Kemal Uğurlu for his services to Turkish football and wish him success in his future career."
