The MHP Muğla Provincial Chairman resigned with a classic excuse.

Muğla MHP Provincial Chairman Oğuz Akarfırat announced that he has resigned from his position due to health issues. Akarfırat cited health problems as the reason for his resignation from the provincial chairmanship.

"I REQUESTED MY RESIGNATION FROM MY POSITION"

Akarfırat's statement is as follows; "With the pride and honor of being a companion to my leader, my General Chairman Dr. Devlet Bahçeli, who has no thought other than the survival of the Republic of Turkey, and who says, 'First my country and my nation, then my party and myself,' I have conveyed to our esteemed Organization Chairman and the leader of our cause, my request for resignation from my current position as the Muğla Provincial Chairman, due to my health reasons, and that I need to take a break from my political life for a while."

Our loyalty to the leader and our political struggle will never end. With this new decision we have taken in the service of our organization, saying 'Every end is a new beginning'; during my time serving our party, which is a representative of political and social centers based on 55 years of national and spiritual values, we owe it to all our nationalist friends with whom we walked together in unity and solidarity, their esteemed families, and to move forward by leaving all our grievances behind on the path drawn by our esteemed General Chairman. On this occasion, I apologize to all the friends we have unintentionally hurt or upset, and I extend my respect and love."
