The Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that a criminal complaint will be filed regarding the incident in which a 2-year-old girl was assaulted by other children at a daycare in Antalya.

The Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that a criminal complaint has been filed against the officials who were negligent regarding the incident in which a 2-year-old girl was assaulted by other children at a private daycare in Antalya, and that an investigator has been appointed.

At a private daycare in the Muratpaşa district of Antalya, a 2-year-old girl was assaulted for approximately 15 minutes by two older children in the sleeping room.

THE FAMILY FILED A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT

The incident was revealed by security camera footage, and the family filed a criminal complaint against both the daycare management and the staff responsible for the incident.

THE MINISTRY ALSO TOOK ACTION

In a statement regarding the incident, the Ministry of Family and Social Services indicated that action was promptly taken by the Antalya Provincial Directorate teams following a report received by the ALO 183 Violence Prevention Hotline, stating, "Following the inspection conducted at the daycare, it has been decided to file a criminal complaint against the negligent officials and to appoint an investigator. As a ministry, we will continue to meticulously follow the process to ensure that the negligent officials receive the necessary punishment," it was stated.
