HOSPITALIZED DUE TO ILLNESS
In a written statement from the MSB, it was stated that "Our brave comrade Specialist Sergeant Mehmet Kökcü, who was assigned to the 57th Artillery Brigade Hacılarkırı K. Yrd.lığı / Menemen, was immediately referred to the hospital and started treatment due to his illness on September 10th. Despite all interventions, he could not be saved and was martyred. In this incident that deeply saddens us, we extend our condolences and patience to the grieving family and the Turkish Armed Forces and noble nation for our dear martyr who lost his life."
