The security camera footage of the explosion that occurred on a boat in the Bodrum district of Muğla, injuring three people, has emerged.
Fuel was supplied to a 12-meter-long boat named "Aslan" that arrived at the fuel station within Milta Marina in Bodrum, Muğla, in the morning hours.
EXPLODED AS SOON AS THE IGNITION WAS TURNED ON
A blast, believed to be caused by an electrical fault, occurred on the motor yacht that was started to leave the fuel dock after refueling.
TEAMS WERE DISPATCHED TO THE AREA
A fire broke out in the area following the explosion, which caused a loud noise. After the report, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene, along with Coast Guard and Maritime Safety teams from the sea.
3 PEOPLE WERE INJURED
It was reported that 3 people were injured in the incident. It was learned that Mustafa Ö. had a broken leg, an unnamed injured person had a dislocated shoulder, and Taner Ş. was affected by smoke.
EXPLOSION MOMENT CAPTURED ON CAMERA
The moment of the explosion was captured by a security camera. The footage shows the boat captain entering the cabin to start the engine after untangling the rope, shortly before the explosion occurred. After the explosion, the captain is seen coming out injured, while marina staff are trying to extinguish the fire.
