THEY RAIDED THE QURAN COURSE AND OPENED FIRE
The incident occurred in the evening hours in the Bağcılar neighborhood of the Bağlar district. Yasin Acun, fleeing from his adversaries, entered the building of the Quran course. Two masked individuals who entered opened fire on Yasin Acun with a shotgun. The suspects also shot and injured security guard O.Ç. (34) before fleeing.
HE LOST HIS LIFE
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. It was determined during the examination that Yasin Acun had lost his life. The injured security guard was taken to the hospital after initial intervention. Acun's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy.
THE ATTACKERS WERE CAPTURED
Yunus police captured the two fleeing suspects along with the shotgun believed to have been used in the incident. While the suspects' processing at the police station continues, an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
