The heavy snow, which is effective in Ovacık, one of the places in Turkey with the most snowfall, brought life to a standstill. With the increase in snow depth in the district center, many streets and avenues were closed to traffic. The doors of houses, parked vehicles, and the fronts of businesses were completely covered in snow.
SNOW DEPTH EXCEEDED HUMAN HEIGHT
From the early hours of the morning, those with shovels cleared snow to be able to leave their homes and enter their workplaces. In some areas, it was observed that progress was difficult due to the snow depth exceeding human height.
