The death of Güllü, a beloved figure in arabesque music who fell from the terrace of her home in Yalova, remains a mystery. According to the statements of her children, the artist consumed 2-3 bottles of alcohol on the night of the incident. Her son Tuğberk said, "My mother may have lost her balance, but she was never someone who would take her own life." The beloved voice of Arabesque music, Güllü, passed away last Friday after falling from the window of her 6th-floor apartment in Yalova. Following the artist's sudden death, discussions arose regarding whether the incident was a suicide or an accident. The painful news of the 52-year-old artist was announced by her son.
The day after, on September 27, emotional moments were experienced at Güllü's funeral, where she was laid to rest. Her daughter Ülkem broke down in tears. Ülkem's cries of "Mom is gone, Dad" and her question, "Did you wash my mom?" deeply affected everyone attending the funeral.

According to a report by Sabah, Güllü's children recounted the events of that night, which still remain a mystery. Her son Tuğberk Yağız Gülter mentioned that his mother might have lost her balance and fallen while trying to open the window under the influence of alcohol. "My mom was a loving person. She was not on bad terms with anyone. She was not someone who would take her own life," he said.

A neighbor living in the same building, Engin Emir, recounted that they heard screams around 1:30 AM on September 26, and when they went outside, they found Güllü on the ground covered in blood. Her neighbor and former manager, Çiğdem Emir, stated that she had known the artist for about 8 years and mentioned that on the night of the incident, Güllü was with her daughter Tuğyan and her close friend Sultan. She also noted that Güllü appeared to be in good spirits during their last meeting.
