The Presidential Cabinet convened under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In the approximately 3-hour meeting, the process of a Terror-Free Turkey, Erdoğan's visit to the USA within the scope of the UN summit and his meeting with Trump, the Israeli oppression in Gaza, and the latest developments in the economy were discussed. After the meeting, President Erdoğan is making statements in front of the cameras.

Highlights from Erdoğan's statements are as follows:

"Once again, I remember with mercy Mr. Yavuz Bülent Bakiler, a poet, writer, and thinker who is one of the prolific writers of Turkish literature and the recipient of the Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Award, who passed away yesterday. I wish patience to his family and loved ones. We attended the extraordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League held in Doha, Qatar, on September 15. We emphasized the importance of taking a common stance against Israel, which has attacked not only Palestine but also Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, and most recently Qatar. Our visit was significant in terms of showing our solidarity with our friend, brother, and ally Qatar.

"SUPPORT FOR COOPERATIVES HAS INCREASED"

On September 19, we held the Turkey Cooperatives Meeting and prepared the 2025-2029 Turkey Cooperative Strategy Action Plan. We shared our new good news for our cooperatives. We had doubled the support items. This year, we increased the support amount to 2.5 times. We raised the support for the purchase of machinery, equipment, and fixed assets to 1 million lira, and the support for participation in exhibitions and fairs to 150 thousand lira.

"THE 13TH TEKNOFEST WAS HELD"

The 13th TEKNOFEST, the largest stage of the national technology move, was held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport from September 17 to 21. We shared in the enthusiasm of our youth. I congratulate all our young friends who accompany Turkey's march towards the future with their works, ideas, and projects. The TEKNOFEST generation will turn the legacy of reaction into maturity, and hopefully, like Alparslan, Fatih, Yavuz, and the Lawgivers, they will write history and change it. We are doing and will do everything that is required of us.

"WE INCREASED THE İŞKUR QUOTA TO 150 THOUSAND"

At the beginning of this year, 100 thousand students benefited from our İŞKUR Youth Program. We announced our quota for this term as 100 thousand. However, due to the intense interest, we decided to increase the quota to 150 thousand. We aim to benefit a total of 1 million students from the İŞKUR youth program by the end of 2028.

"PALESTINE LEFT ITS MARK ON THE UN"

This year, we evaluated the general discussions of the 80th UN General Assembly, in which we participated with a strong delegation, in the most productive way from every aspect. We met with many sectors, from leading figures of the Turkish-American community to business circles and international investors. We particularly explained the investment and trade opportunities offered by Turkey to our guests. Our Turkish House, located directly across from the UN, once again stood out as the center where diplomacy beats. Despite Israel's attempts to obstruct, the Palestinian cause left its mark on the 80th General Assembly. There was significant interest in the two-state solution conference co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia. The next day, I addressed the General Assembly for the 13th time, including during my term as Prime Minister. In our speech, we emphasized the brutality in Gaza, which has exceeded the dimensions of genocide and has turned into mass slaughter. We presented the oppression that has been continuously inflicted for 23 months with numbers and photographs. We called on the international community to take action against Israel's barbarities.

"WE REITERATED OUR CALL TO RECOGNIZE THE TRNC"

We conveyed messages regarding regions that hold a special place in Turkey's foreign policy, from Africa to Asia, and from the Balkans to Latin America. We once again strongly defended the rightful cause of the Turkish Cypriots. We reiterated our call to recognize the TRNC. With the Zero Waste Project, we brought the attacks on the family institution back to the agenda of humanity. Our speech was the essence, summary, and framework of Turkey's foreign policy, which is inspired by the double-headed Seljuk eagle and conducted with a 360-degree perspective.

"WE DISCUSSED WHAT CAN BE DONE TO STOP THE BLOODSHED IN GAZA"

The meeting on Gaza, attended by Mr. Trump and regional leaders, was extremely productive. We discussed what we can do to stop the bloodshed in Gaza. At the Climate Summit, we talked about reforms in line with the goal of net zero emissions by 2053. We had bilateral meetings with many countries, including Syria, Libya, Kuwait, Indonesia, France, Canada, and Vietnam. The UN Secretary-General was also among the people we met.

"OUTSIDE OF A HANDFUL OF COUNTRIES, NO ONE WANTS TO BE SEEN NEXT TO NETANYAHU"

It is widely accepted that Netanyahu, who is cornered due to corruption investigations, has dragged the region and even the world into chaos to protect his seat. It is very clear that what we see is not a state mentality but a massacre crew that feeds on blood and chaos. Outside of a handful of countries, almost no one wants to be seen next to the Israeli and Netanyahu government or take a photo with them. In the General Assembly, 10 Western countries announced that they recognized Palestine. The recognition of the Palestinian state by 2 countries that are members of the Security Council is of extraordinary importance. We are very pleased to be a country that has almost taken the lead in this struggle, as the number of countries recognizing Palestine has reached 158.
