It has been revealed that the 26-year-old young man found dead in a car in Mersin was a victim of murder. During the interrogation, two friends who were with him on the night of the incident stated that the young man fell to the ground and hit his head after he vomited on them and was struck in the face with the car key. Two suspects have been arrested for leaving the body in the back of the vehicle to cover up the murder.
On September 30, in the Bağlar neighborhood of Tarsus district in Mersin, Abdullah Gürsoy (26) was found lying motionless in his car. Those who saw him reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Health and police teams were dispatched to the address upon the notification. The teams determined that Gürsoy had passed away. His body was buried after an autopsy was performed. The Tarsus District Police Department's Public Order Bureau teams initiated an investigation into the incident.
THEY CONFESSED DURING INTERROGATION
On the night of the incident, the public order teams detained Abdullah Gürsoy's friends who were with him, revealing that the suspicious death was a murder. Allegedly, T.Y. and M.Ç., who were detained, stated that after Abdullah Gürsoy vomited on them, T.Y. hit him in the face with the car key, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground. It was learned that the suspects also said they left the body behind the vehicle to cover up the murder.
T.Y. and M.Ç. were arrested by the court after their proceedings.
