STABBED AFTER REFUSING TO GIVE MONEY
The incident occurred last night on the stairs leading to the metro and bus stops in Taksim Square, Beyoğlu. According to the information obtained, E.K. asked İbrahim Halil H. for money as he was coming up the stairs. After İbrahim Halil H. refused to give the requested money, he was stabbed following a dispute. Health teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. İbrahim Halil H., who was injured by knife wounds, was taken to the hospital after the first intervention by health teams. Despite all the interventions at the hospital, İbrahim Halil H. could not be saved and lost his life.
CAUGHT WITH THE WEAPON
After the incident, the teams from the Security Teams Branch Directorate B started a large-scale investigation in the area. Following interviews with eyewitnesses and the review of security camera footage, the suspect E.K. was apprehended on Tarlabaşı Boulevard with a blood-stained knife believed to have been used in the incident.

After completing the procedures there, E.K. was sent to the courthouse where he was arrested by the court and sent to prison. It was learned that the suspect E.K. stabbed İbrahim Halil H. as a result of a dispute that arose after he refused to give the requested money.
