A new development has occurred regarding the incident in which two sisters were shot dead at home in the Nusaybin district of Mardin. M.B., whose identity was determined by a special team formed by the Provincial Police Department, has been arrested. It has been learned that the individual is the religiously married spouse of one of the deceased sisters.
A brutal incident occurred on January 5 in Aram Street, 8 Mart Neighborhood, in the Nusaybin district of Mardin. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the address following a report made to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
BODIES OF TWO SIBLINGS FOUND IN THE HOUSE
Upon entering the house, the teams found Süheyla Özdaş (44) and her sister Sümeyye Khaled Abira (41) motionless, shot with a firearm. Medical teams confirmed that the two siblings had lost their lives. The bodies of the siblings were taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy after examinations were conducted at the scene.
ABIRA'S RELIGIOUSLY MARRIED HUSBAND ARRESTED
As part of the investigation, the individual identified by the special team established by the Provincial Security Directorate, M.B., was captured and taken into custody. The person, who was learned to be the religiously married husband of the deceased Sümeyye Khaled Abira, was arrested by the court after his procedures and sent to prison.
