In the Bünyan district of Kayseri, a woman who was stranded on the road due to snow and blizzard while on her way to the hospital to give birth, delivered her baby in a gendarmerie vehicle that came to her aid. After the incident, Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, who visited the hospital, named the newborn "Alparslan Ayaz."
Didem Şimşek, who was pregnant and set out for childbirth from the Yünören neighborhood of the Bünyan district in Kayseri, and her relatives were stranded in their vehicle due to heavy snowfall and blizzard in the Elbaşı neighborhood. Teams from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, who arrived at the scene, helped pregnant Didem Şimşek into a gendarmerie vehicle to safely transport her to the ambulance. However, as they could not reach the ambulance due to the heavy snow, Şimşek had to give birth inside the vehicle.
After the birth, Didem Şimşek and her baby were taken to the hospital. Immediately after the incident, Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek and Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Hakan Dedebağı visited Didem Şimşek and her baby in the hospital. The Şimşek family expressed their great happiness at the visit of Governor Çiçek and Commander Dedebağı and conveyed their thanks.

Governor Gökmen Çiçek chatted with Şimşek's relatives for a while in the hospital and named the newborn baby "Alparslan Ayaz." This gesture by Governor Çiçek was met with joy by the Şimşek family. Additionally, Governor Çiçek thanked the gendarmerie teams for their quick and effective intervention despite the harsh weather conditions, emphasizing the importance of their dedication in such incidents.
This birth was recorded as a miracle despite the heavy snowfall and difficult conditions. Governor Çiçek stated that he was proud to stand by the citizens of Kayseri during the challenging winter conditions.
