The agreement reached between the US and Iran sparked strong reactions in Israel. Yinon Magal, a presenter on Channel 14 known for his closeness to Netanyahu, argued that US President Donald Trump emerged as the "loser" from the deal, while insulting Vice President JD Vance with the words "lowlife scumbag." These harsh outbursts in the Israeli press have led to comments that tensions have increased between Washington and Tel Aviv following the agreement.

While the agreement between the US and Iran sparked debate in Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not yet made a public statement. However, commentators and media figures close to the government harshly criticized the Trump administration. Some described US President Donald Trump as a "loser," arguing that Israel has been left isolated.

SILENCE FROM NETANYAHU'S CAMP

Following the agreement reached between the US and Iran, all eyes turned to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. However, Netanyahu has not yet made a public assessment of the deal. Nonetheless, statements from commentators close to the government revealed the discomfort on the Israeli side.

"TRUMP ENDED UP ON THE LOSING SIDE"

Channel 14 anchor Yinon Magal, known for his closeness to Netanyahu and previously describing himself as a "carrier of Netanyahu's messages," claimed in a social media post that Trump emerged as the loser from the agreement. Magal also used harsh language against US Vice President JD Vance.

KUSHNER AND WITKOFF IN THE CROSSHAIRS

Magal also targeted Trump's advisers Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, alleging that the pair were influenced by Qatar and that Israel's interests had been ignored. Noting that the Qatari delegation had conducted talks in Tehran before the agreement was announced, Magal ended his post with the words, "They left us alone."

"NETANYAHU SHARES THE SAME VIEW"

An Israeli source speaking to CNN claimed that Netanyahu has criticized Kushner and Witkoff in private conversations. According to the source, Netanyahu believes Qatar's stance on Iran has deepened the differences in perspective between Washington and Tel Aviv.

"AMERICA IS WEAKER THAN EVER"

Channel 14 commentator Shimon Riklin also argued in a social media post that Trump's policies have made the US weaker than ever. Meanwhile, right-wing political analyst Amit Segal recalled the famous words of former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, stating, "It may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be its friend is fatal."

HONEYMOON SHORT-LIVED

These reactions in Israel have prompted comments that the strong support for Trump in the early days of the tension with Iran is beginning to reverse. In recent weeks, the Trump administration's preference for a path of negotiation with Iran and its focus on ceasefire conditions in Lebanon have brought to light diverging views between Washington and Tel Aviv.
