In Tunceli, Gendarmerie Sergeant Major Kadir Açar fell ill after playing a football match with his comrades. Açar was taken to the hospital but unfortunately passed away despite all the doctors' efforts. Initial examinations indicated that Açar had suffered a heart attack.

Sergeant Major Kadir Açar, who served at the District Gendarmerie Command in the Çemizgezek district of Tunceli, collapsed after a futsal match with his comrades. Health teams were dispatched to the scene following the report.

DIED IN HOSPITAL

After the initial intervention, Açar was taken to Çemişgezek State Hospital, where he passed away. Açar's lifeless body was taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy. In the initial examination, it was stated that Açar had suffered a heart attack, and the exact cause of death would be determined by the autopsy.

Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu, in a condolence message shared on his social media account, stated, "Gendarmerie Sergeant Major Kadir Açar, who served under the Çemişgezek District Gendarmerie Command affiliated with the Tunceli Provincial Gendarmerie Command, has passed away despite all interventions made at the hospital after suffering from an illness. I pray for God's mercy on our deceased personnel; I extend my condolences and patience to his family, loved ones, and our esteemed nation."
