HERE ARE ALL THE NAMES

Aziz İhsan Aktaş, who was detained as part of the investigations conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the İBB and arrested on January 13 on charges of being the leader of a criminal organization, was released from prison under judicial control in the form of house arrest due to being an informant and benefiting from the provisions of effective remorse.

Other names that were informants and released besides Aktaş are as follows: Mustafa Mutlu, Sami Özge Arıoğlu, Mustafa Başar Arıoğlu, Servet Yıldırım, Hüseyin Kum, Taner Gümüş, Murat Bıyık, Kadir Gümüş, Altan Gözcü.

THEY WERE ARRESTED WITH AKTAŞ'S STATEMENT

The most notable person among the informants was Aziz İhsan Aktaş. Aktaş, who gave his first effective remorse statement on April 30, 2025, later stated, "I have things to add to my statement," and provided his second statement on May 11, 2025.

In his statement, Aktaş mentioned that the municipalities from which he received tenders, especially Beşiktaş Municipality, made payments for entitlements in exchange for material benefits.

Following Aktaş's statement regarding politicians, mayors, and their assistants who provided material benefits, the prosecutor's office issued detention orders for 27 suspects, including İBB Deputy Secretary General Erdal Celal Aksoy, ISFALT General Manager Burak Korzay, Gaziosmanpaşa Mayor Hakan Bahçetepe, Avcılar Mayor Utku Caner Çaykara, Ceyhan Mayor Kadir Aydar, Seyhan Mayor Oya Tekin, Beşiktaş Deputy Mayor Ozan İş, and Avcılar Deputy Mayor Erhan Daka, on charges of "receiving bribes," "giving bribes," "embezzlement," and "manipulating tenders."

After Aktaş's statement, the mayors of Gaziosmanpaşa, Avcılar, Ceyhan, and Seyhan, as well as the İBB Deputy Secretary General and ISFALT General Manager, were detained and arrested.
