Armed opponents who overthrew the Ba'ath regime in Syria gained control across the country. The deposed leader Bashar al-Assad, who was forced to leave the capital Damascus to the hands of the opposition, fled to Moscow, the capital of Russia. THE OPPOSITION'S ANGER DOES NOT SUBSIDEAlthough the armed opposition has taken control of the country, their anger has not yet subsided. Having been subjected to years of oppression, persecution, and unlawful practices by the Ba'ath regime, the opposition is targeting the symbolic figures of the deposed regime. THEY SET FIRE TO HAFEZ AL-ASSAD'S GRAVEThe opposition recently went to the grave of the country's former president, Hafez al-Assad, the father of Bashar al-Assad. The opposition set the cemetery completely on fire and recorded those moments.
