With the young footballer being loaned for 4 million Euros during the winter transfer period and starting in the first eleven, the mandatory purchase option in his contract was activated, raising the cost of the young striker to 22 million Euros.

With this decision, the French player, who was temporarily transferred to the yellow-blues, will also play in Turkey next season. The clause in Sidiki Cherif's contract, which states that if he plays in the starting eleven, the mandatory purchase option will be activated, has come into effect.
