The MIT, Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and Istanbul Financial Crimes Fighting Branch conducted simultaneous operations on the morning of July 15 against FETÖ's current financial structure in Istanbul, Ankara, Sakarya, Osmaniye, Bayburt, Giresun, Malatya, Yalova, and Bolu.
26 SUSPECTS DETAINED
In the operation, 26 suspects, including Zeki Doruk, the owner of the chain markets HAKMAR and TATBAK, which have approximately 800 branches centered in Istanbul, were detained.
HE HAD LEFT ALL HIS ASSETS TO FETÖ
When Zeki Doruk was detained, the safe in his house was opened, which he had intentionally locked by giving the wrong password. Inside the safe, numerous valuables, a will, and a prayer were found. In his handwritten will, Zeki Doruk stated that he had left all his assets to FETÖ. The will also mentioned that the zakat of HAKMAR, TATBAK, and all other companies should be given to FETÖ under the name of 'service movement.'
FETHULLAH GÜLEN'S 'TALISMAN' PRAYER WAS ALSO FOUND IN THE SAFE
It was understood that the prayer was the 'talisman' prayer written in Fethullah Gülen's own handwriting and given specifically to individuals in his secret organization. Doruk, who said, 'Gülen elevated me, let my wealth be sacrificed,' was found to have kept the 'talisman' prayer he received from Gülen in the safe at his home along with his will.
AN ADMINISTRATOR WAS APPOINTED TO 19 COMPANIES
Zeki Doruk, who was found to have regularly transferred money to the organization's members in Turkey based on instructions from FETÖ's overseas structure, had administrators appointed to his companies and branches named HAKMAR and TATBAK. During the investigation process, due to the allegation of financing FETÖ, administrators were also appointed to 19 more of Doruk's companies.
