According to documents that emerged last night, it was revealed that Köfteci Yusuf, which has branches in many provinces, used pork in its meats and prevented the sharing of this information with a court order. In two different examination and analysis reports concluded on February 27 and March 7, pork was found in the beef döner and ready-to-eat cooked meatballs taken as samples. In the examinations, no single-hoofed or poultry meat was detected. The examinations were conducted by taking samples from cooked meatballs and beef döner. A sample of 300 grams was taken from the cooked meatballs, and 400 grams from the beef döner. According to the reports, pork was detected in both products. THE OWNER HAS DISAPPEAREDThe owner of the company selling its products with a 'Halal Certificate', Yusuf Akkaş, has disappeared after the incident broke out. The company's lawyer stated that he had no information about the matter, could not make a statement, and would not be able to respond to the allegations, thus maintaining silence.
