A passenger plane taking off from Norway to the Netherlands went off the runway during an emergency landing. A LOUD NOISE WAS HEARDAccording to a statement from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, the plane was redirected to Sandefjord Airport after a loud noise was heard shortly after taking off from Oslo Airport heading to Amsterdam. SLID INTO GRASSY AREADuring the emergency landing, the Boeing 737-800 aircraft slid off the runway into a grassy area. It was reported that none of the 176 passengers and 6 crew members on board were harmed, and an investigation into the incident has been initiated. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM MALFUNCTIONAccording to reports in the Norwegian press, the plane made an emergency landing due to a malfunction in its hydraulic system.
