A LOUD NOISE WAS HEARD

According to a statement from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, the plane was redirected to Sandefjord Airport after a loud noise was heard shortly after taking off from Oslo Airport heading to Amsterdam.

SLID INTO GRASSY AREA

During the emergency landing, the Boeing 737-800 aircraft slid off the runway into a grassy area. It was reported that none of the 176 passengers and 6 crew members on board were harmed, and an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
