In the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu, around 10,000 monarchy supporters held a demonstration for the reinstatement of the country's former king, Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev.

In the demonstration where no violent incidents occurred, a call was made for Hinduism to be recognized as the official religion of the country again.
