In a fire that broke out in a four-story building in Esenyurt, Istanbul, seven people who were trapped were rescued by fire crews. As a result of the fire, one person affected by smoke was taken to the hospital.
A fire broke out in a 4-story building in Esenyurt. Due to the thick smoke circulating inside the building, residents on the upper floors were trapped. While those trapped were rescued with the help of the fire department, one person affected by the smoke was taken to the hospital.
The incident occurred around 14:00 in the Battalgazi neighborhood of Esenyurt district, on Büyükyonca Street. According to the information obtained, a fire broke out on the 1st floor of the 4-story building for an unknown reason. The fire quickly engulfed the entire apartment, and the black smoke that emerged filled the interior of the building.
7 CITIZENS RESCUED WITH GREAT DIFFICULTY
Due to the thick smoke, citizens trapped in their homes climbed out onto the windows. 7 citizens rescued by the efforts of the fire department received treatment while standing in the ambulances dispatched to the area. It was learned that one person affected by the smoke was not in life-threatening condition but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
FIRE UNDER CONTROL
The fire department quickly brought the fire under control. It was reported that the cause of the fire would be determined after investigations were conducted.
