The suspect of the terrorist attack in Reyhanlı in 2013, which resulted in the deaths of 53 people, Muhammad Dib Koralı, was captured by the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) during a point operation in Syria and was sent to prison. Minister Tunç used the following expressions in his post; "Muhammad Dib Korali, who is the suspect of the treacherous terrorist attack carried out in our Reyhanlı district of Hatay province in 2013 and was captured in Syria, has been arrested by the Hatay Criminal Court of Peace as part of the investigation conducted by the Hatay Chief Public Prosecutor's Office." “I once again commemorate our citizens who lost their lives in this heartbreaking attack and extend my condolences to their families and loved ones.” WHAT HAPPENED?The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) had captured Muhammad Dib Koralı, one of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Reyhanlı in 2013, where 53 people lost their lives, in Syria. According to information obtained from security sources, MIT had identified the location where Muhammad Dib Koralı, who was among the planners of the terrorist attack and provided the bombs used in the attack, was hiding. Koralı, who was captured in the operation carried out by MIT in Syria, was handed over to the Hatay Provincial Police Department. MIT had also brought Yusuf Nazik, who was among the perpetrators and planners of the terrorist attack, to Turkey in 2018 through an operation carried out in Syria.
