A 61-year-old woman, who fell and broke her foot while hiking in the Fethiye district of Muğla, was rescued after a 4-hour operation by the Gendarmerie Search and Rescue and UMKE teams. The woman was taken to the hospital, and it was reported that her life is not in danger.

FOOT BROKEN WHILE HIKING IN THE FOREST
In the responsibility area of the Ölüdeniz Gendarmerie Station under the Fethiye District Gendarmerie Command, around 15:00 today, based on a report received by the Emergency Call Center, it was learned that a woman named F.D. (61), who had gone out to hike on the Lycian road in Kayaköy Neighborhood, broke her foot in a mountainous and forested area and became stranded.
RESCUED WITH DIFFICULTY
Following the report, Muğla JAK Team and UMKE teams were dispatched to the area. The teams arriving at the scene reached the woman and placed her on a stretcher. The woman carried by stretcher was transferred to health teams. While the woman taken to the hospital was placed under treatment, it was learned that her life was not in danger.
