HAS SERVED IN THE U.S. ARMYOfficials who provided information to the U.S. media stated that the person in the vehicle was Matthew Alan Livelsberger, a member of the U.S. Army. The 37-year-old Livelsberger, born in Colorado, joined the U.S. Army in January 2006 as a special forces communications specialist and was reported to be a soldier stationed at the U.S. military base in Germany.
