In Izmir, a person who insulted Atatürk's mother and belittled religious values during a broadcast on social media was taken into custody.

In Izmir, a person who was found to have insulted the mother of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and belittled religious values in a video shared on social media has been detained.

Due to the statements made in his broadcasts on social media, the Karşıyaka Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued a detention order for K.B.D. on charges of "inciting hatred and hostility in the public" or "insulting," "crimes committed against Atatürk," "insulting religious values," and "insulting the memory of a person."

The suspect's procedures at the police station are ongoing.
