Vedat Kurt (22), who was tortured for 3 days at his workplace in Antalya, locked in a storage room, had his teeth broken, and was forced to eat cockroaches, said, "There have been 11 hearings, and no decision has been made. I have been dealing with this incident for years. Everything is proven and documented. Although the individuals are known, they are free. It is time for a decision to be made, and for the criminals to face justice."

According to Kurt's claim, who returned to Antalya and delivered the 15 thousand lira he received to the business owners; he was tied to a chair and locked in a storage room by A.T., O.T., S.T., and A.A. Kurt, who was subjected to various tortures for 3 days, had his teeth broken, cuts on his body, was laid down with his hands and arms tied, and was fed cockroaches with his mouth kept open.

The suspects recorded what they did on their mobile phones. Noticing that Vedat Kurt's condition, whom they kept locked in the storage room, was deteriorating, the suspects allegedly waited for his wounds to heal. Continuing to work at the same workplace, Vedat Kurt escaped by taking photos recorded on the suspects' mobile phone while he was being tortured. Kurt has filed a complaint against the suspects.

A LAWSUIT HAS BEEN FILED

A lawsuit has been filed against the suspects at the Antalya 6th High Criminal Court. In the 11th hearing of the case, the defendants' lawyers did not accept the accusations. The court panel decided to present the names of all healthcare institutions where Vedat Kurt received treatment to the court and to send the reports to the forensic medicine institution, rejecting the request for the suspects to be arrested and placed under judicial control, and postponed the hearing.

"EVERYONE SHOULD PUT THEIR CHILD IN MY PLACE"

Stating that all evidence of torture is present and that the suspects are free, Vedat Kurt said, "I was tortured in Antalya. 11 hearings were held, and no decision was made. I have been dealing with this incident for years. Everything is proven and evidenced. Although the individuals are known, they are free. I call out to those with a conscience. Everyone has a child. Unfortunately, they walk around freely. Everyone should put their child in my place. I received a Forensic Medicine report in Şanlıurfa. It was not processed into our file. I went to Istanbul, and I did not get results. I trust the law. A decision should be made now, and the criminals should be punished," he said.
