The PFDK has given a 7-match ban to Kasımpaşa coach Sami Uğurlu.

PFDK, Kasımpaşa's coach Sami Uğurlu, who received a red card in the first week, was given a 7-match suspension for insulting and threatening the referee, acting against sportsmanship towards a member of the opposing team, and not complying with the precautionary measures. On the other hand, Eyüpspor's coach Arda Turan was given a 1-match ban for unsportsmanlike behavior towards the referees.

The statement regarding the penalties given to Uğurlu and Turan by PFDK is as follows;

"KASIMPAŞA A.Ş. coach SAMİ UĞURLU is banned from the dressing room and the bench for 5 OFFICIAL MATCHES before and after the expulsion and fined 97,500 TL due to his insults and threats towards the match referee. In the same match, KASIMPAŞA A.Ş. coach SAMİ UĞURLU is fined 58,500 TL for his unsportsmanlike behavior towards a member of the opposing team.

In the same match, KASIMPAŞA A.Ş. coach SAMİ UĞURLU is banned from the dressing room and the bench for 2 OFFICIAL MATCHES and fined 74,250 TL for not complying with the precautionary measures, in accordance with FDT's articles 82/b and 50/1-c and the implementation of article 13 of FDT.

IKAS EYÜPSPOR Club coach ARDA TURAN is banned from the dressing room and the bench for 1 OFFICIAL MATCH and fined 58,500 TL for his unsportsmanlike behavior towards the match referees."

WHAT DID SAMİ UĞURLU DO?

Kasımpaşa's coach Sami Uğurlu protested intensely to the referee Muhammet Ali Meteoğlu in the 42nd minute of the Konyaspor match. Referee showed a yellow card to the experienced coach. Sami Uğurlu, who continued his protests, received a second yellow card and was sent off with a red card. After receiving the red card, Uğurlu became very angry and headed towards the Konyaspor bench. The experienced coach, who was difficult to calm down, also showed a strong reaction to the referee Muhammet Ali Meteoğlu while leaving the field.

WHY DID ARDA TURAN RECEIVE A RED CARD?

Eyüpspor, coached by Arda Turan, visited Alanyaspor in the first week of the Super League. After the equalizer goal by the Mediterranean team in the 77th minute, the sideline got heated. Arda Turan, who made his debut as a coach in the Super League, showed a very strong reaction to the referee of the match. The young coach sent his players to the sideline for substitutions before the goal of the Antalya representative, but the substitutions did not happen. Turan, who was annoyed by the delay in substitutions, went crazy after the goal. The referee of the match punished Arda Turan with a red card. The 37-year-old coach started his first coaching experience in the Super League with a red card.
