In the Atakum district of Samsun, a fight between an uncle and a nephew broke out due to loud phone conversations at night, resulting in the nephew being assaulted and the intervening sister being stabbed. The suspect then jumped from the balcony and was hospitalized.
THE DISPUTE TURNED INTO A FIGHT IN THE NIGHT HOURS
The incident occurred around 04:00 in the Mimarsinan neighborhood of the Atakum district. According to allegations, M.Ö. (24) was warned by his nephew İ.Ş. (20) that neighbors might be disturbed due to his loud phone conversations. The warning quickly escalated into a dispute and then a fight.
HE ASSAULTED HIS NEPHEW, STABBED HIS SISTER
During the fight, M.Ö. assaulted his nephew İ.Ş., injuring him on the nose. İ.Ş.'s mother D.B. (38), who tried to intervene and separate the fight, was stabbed in the left arm by her brother M.Ö.
HE JUMPED FROM THE BALCONY, THREE PEOPLE WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL
Seeing that his sister was losing a lot of blood, M.Ö. jumped down from the balcony of the second-floor apartment. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured M.Ö. was taken to Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University Medical Faculty Hospital, while İ.Ş. and D.B. were taken to a private hospital for treatment.
Police teams conducted an investigation at the scene. The investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
