It was decided that the grave of Cem Garipoğlu, who killed Münevver Karabulut, would be opened on October 3rd at 11:00 AM. Police teams were seen on duty for security purposes at Karacaahmet Cemetery, where Garipoğlu's grave is located.
Münevver Karabulut was murdered by Cem Garipoğlu in a villa located in Bahçeşehir in 2009. Garipoğlu was found dead in his cell on October 10, 2014. Following claims regarding the identity of the deceased being Cem Garipoğlu, the Karabulut family requested through their lawyers that a burial exhumation be carried out.

The Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which accepted the request, wrote a directive to the Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the exhumation of Cem Garipoğlu's grave. The prosecutor's office decided to open the grave located in Karacaahmet Cemetery in Üsküdar on October 3rd, Thursday at 11:00 AM. Bone samples will be taken from Garipoğlu's body for identification matching.

Meanwhile, it was observed that police teams were on guard at Karacaahmet Cemetery, where Cem Garipoğlu's grave, which is to be opened, is located, to ensure security.
