In a prostitution operation conducted at a massage parlor in Hatay, a total administrative fine of 114,940 TL was imposed on 9 foreign women caught in a hidden compartment. Additionally, 256,700 TL was seized as criminal proceeds during the operation.
Police teams in the Dörtyol district of Hatay conducted a comprehensive inspection as part of the fight against prostitution and human trafficking targeting SPA and massage parlors. During the inspections, a special compartment hidden behind a cabinet was discovered in one of the massage parlors.
115 THOUSAND LIRA FINE IMPOSED
In this hidden area, 9 foreign women who were found to be working without a permit and were determined to be forced into prostitution were caught. A total administrative fine of 114,940 TL was imposed on the detained women.
256 THOUSAND LIRA SEIZED
Additionally, 256,700 TL believed to be obtained from prostitution income was seized during the operation. The business owner A.K. was referred to the courthouse on charges of "encouraging, facilitating, or coercing prostitution." A.K. was released by the court under judicial control conditions.
