HISTORICAL EMPHASIS FROM ERSIN TATAR AND İLBER ORTAYLI

President Ersin Tatar and historian İlber Ortaylı exchanged views on the history of Cyprus. In the discussion, it was emphasized that Varosha (Kapalı Maraş) and Cyprus were Ottoman territories. Ortaylı stated that a federal solution is no longer possible and that the two-state solution model pursued by President Tatar is the most accurate path.

This important meeting created new cooperation opportunities in Turkey-TRNC relations while delivering significant messages about the future of the region.

EURASIA STRATEGIC RESEARCH CENTER

The description of the Eurasia Strategic Research Center, one of Turkey's important research centers, includes the following statements: Turkey's global vision requires a unique historical-cultural identity, a horizon, and depth suitable for its geopolitical position. In this direction, as Asad, our most important principle is to help generate ideas that can lead to the strategic steps needed for the formation of Turkey's rapidly changing and globalizing internal and external policies. As individuals who have Turkey in their minds and thoughts, we work day and night for this cause. We know that the greatest value of a nation is its labor. And this labor is a sycamore tree with different nests in every branch. Because the homeland to which we are connected with these roots is sacred. Turkey is the power that has united a nation that has shaped history in line with national interests. Therefore, it is much more spiritual and noble than just a piece of land with borders.

With this awareness, we are a think tank that conducts research that will illuminate the future of our country and nation in line with our national interests. We strive to create local and national strategies, share them with the necessary institutions to implement them, and thus add value to our country. Our goal is to bring to light the ideas, events, people, and lives that have been covered with the dust of the past and stored away, reflecting all of these from different thought perspectives. Just as we evaluate Turkey within its own borders, we aim to illuminate the future of our country by conducting research from economic, political, geological, legal, and historical perspectives within the developing and changing global system.

We envision a Turkey that is stronger, larger, richer, a global power that shapes world politics, and carries the flag of Islam, the strongest representative of its roots, even further!
