The volatility in global oil markets and currency fluctuations continue to affect fuel prices. Today, a discount of 93 kuruş was applied to diesel, but an increase of 1 lira 8 kuruş is expected starting from Tuesday. With the price increase reflected at the pump, the price of diesel per liter will rise to 54 lira 76 kuruş in Istanbul, 55 lira 86 kuruş in Ankara, and 56 lira 13 kuruş in Izmir.

Fuel prices continue to change frequently due to fluctuations in global oil markets and exchange rate changes.

INCREASE IN DIESEL PRICES

Today, diesel prices decreased by 93 kuruş, but an increase of 1 lira 8 kuruş is expected to take effect starting from Tuesday.

WILL RISE TO 54 LIRA 76 KURUŞ IN ISTANBUL

With the price increase reflected at the pump, the price of diesel per liter in Istanbul is expected to rise to 54 lira 76 kuruş, in Ankara to 55 lira 86 kuruş, and in Izmir to 56 lira 13 kuruş.

HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?

Fuel prices are calculated by refineries based on the average prices of refined products in the Mediterranean market, which includes Turkey, and changes in the dollar exchange rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may show slight variations due to competition and freedom among companies and cities.
