U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham reacted to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei describing the pro-regime protests in his country as a warning to the U.S., stating, "Watch out for the drones." Referring to claims that Khamenei would flee to Russia if the anti-regime protests in Iran intensified, Graham said, "As for your recent warning to American politicians, I heard that Moscow is a winter wonderland."
The response from the U.S. came after Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei described pro-government demonstrations held in reaction to anti-regime protests in his country as a "warning to American politicians to stop their deception and not to trust treacherous mercenaries."
U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, known for his closeness to President Donald Trump, quoted Khamenei's statements in a post on the social media platform X, asking, "I am addressing the Ayatollah (Khamenei). We don't talk as much as we used to. Did I offend you?"
"I HEARD MOSCOW IS A WINTER WONDERLAND"
Referring to claims that Khamenei would flee to Russia if anti-regime protests in Iran intensified, Graham said, "As for your recent warning to American politicians, I heard Moscow is a winter wonderland." Graham issued a warning, implying a possible U.S. attack on Iran, saying, "Beware of drones."
"TRUMP TALKS A LOT, DON'T TAKE HIM SERIOUSLY"
In another post, Graham quoted Iranian National Security Council Chairman Ali Larijani's statement that "Trump talks a lot, don't take him seriously," commenting that "a rather provocative statement came from Iran's so-called national security chief about U.S. President Donald Trump." Graham warned that those who make derogatory statements about Trump would have to face the consequences.
