Aydemir noted that tariffs are now determined on an annual basis and emphasized that many private companies have refused to enter into contracts with commitments. It was stated that firms indicating inflation since 2022 have recorded a total increase of 280%, which has been reflected in prices. Companies say that if they are to enter into contracts with commitments, they will raise their tariffs considering next year's inflation, personnel costs, and increases in investment and operating expenses. A young woman who preferred to buy a package from an operator at Moldova Airport instead of purchasing one in Turkey stated, "I wanted to use a package from Turkcell, but I was asked for 400 lira for 2 GB. Later, at the operator I arrived at in Moldova, I bought a package for a total of 200 lira, which included 60 GB of internet and 500 minutes of talk time.
