The wildfires that started in Los Angeles, California, are out of control. While the fire continues in six different areas in one of the city's luxury neighborhoods, it is reported that the fires have also spread to New York. The toll of the fire is worsening by the hour. According to officials, 11 people have lost their lives so far, and more than 10,000 homes and buildings have been reduced to ashes. CELEBRITIES' HOMES TURNED TO ASHESThe fire reportedly started near the luxury residential area called Pacific Palisades, where Hollywood stars' mansions are located; many celebrities' luxury homes were damaged or burned in the fire. A video circulating on social media revealed which celebrities owned the homes in Pacific Palisades and their values. The area includes the $25 million home of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, the $12 million home of Kobe Bryant, the $40 million home of Tom Hanks, the $20 million home of Diane Keaton, the $10 million home of Michelle Pfeiffer, the $60 million home of Steven Spielberg, the $12 million home of Jamie Lee Curtis, and the $12 million home of Christian Bale. It is known that many of the homes have been damaged or completely burned down. THEY PROTESTED THE MAYORSome Hollywood celebrities whose homes were damaged in the ongoing fires in the luxury Pacific Palisades area expressed their anger towards Los Angeles' Democratic Mayor Karen Bass. Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar stated on her social media account, "The people of Los Angeles, you want everyone to be evacuated from the city, but the roads are completely blocked, and there isn't a single traffic officer to help." Actor James Woods, whose home became uninhabitable due to the fire, targeted Democratic figures on social media, saying, "This fire is not because of 'climate change,' it's because of ignorant fools. The reason is that you elect liberal idiots like (California Governor) Gavin Newsom and (Los Angeles Mayor) Karen Bass. One knows nothing about fire management, and the other can't even fill the water reservoirs."
