The "Halk Ekmek" project, implemented by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality with its understanding of social municipality, is starting. The project, which will start in Yunusemre as a pilot region, aims to spread to 17 districts. Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek said, "Starting from next week, as we promised, water will be 1 lira and bread will be 5 lira. Water is now 1 lira, and bread will also be 5 lira."

Manisa Metropolitan Municipality will add another social municipality application by offering bread to citizens at an affordable price. Manisa Metropolitan Municipality will start selling Public Bread in Yunusemre with the protocol made with Yunusemre Municipality. The Public Bread project will then continue to spread to 17 districts.

"WE WILL OFFER IT TO OUR CITIZENS HEALTHILY"

Mayor Zeyrek signed a protocol with Yunusemre Mayor Semih Balaban for the Public Bread project. Mayor Zeyrek said; "As promised, water is 1 lira, bread is 5 lira. Water is now 1 lira, and bread will be 5 lira. We will offer it to our citizens healthily. First, we will start in our pilot region, Yunusemre Municipality. Afterwards, we will offer public bread in our 17 districts with the same taste and at a very affordable price. Public Bread is an essential part of social municipality, and then we will quickly implement the City Restaurant. We have just signed another protocol with Semih Balaban for the public's dairy, Public Dairy, which is now coming to life. Together with the production of the Metropolitan Municipality in the facilities of Yunusemre Municipality, we will offer dairy products to our citizens in the most economical, delicious, and healthy way with our mayor."

"YUNUSEMRE SELECTED AS THE PILOT REGION"

Mayor Balaban said; "Today, we are happy to sign a beautiful protocol. Our mayor keeps his promise. He said that Public Bread will be everywhere and chose Yunusemre as the pilot region. I thank him. He is doing very good work and will continue to do so. As Yunusemre Municipality, we are withdrawing from the production and sale of Public Bread due to the services of the Metropolitan Municipality. We gladly hand over our kiosks to our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor. From now on, we will be his supporters in every aspect. He also supports us. I thank Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek for his beautiful and populist services. I thank him for his contributions to us."
