During the unauthorized protests held in Batman, a demonstrator who shouted "Governor, come out here" at Governor Ekrem Canalp was arrested.

Following the removal of Batman Mayor Gülistan Sönük due to a confirmed prison sentence and ongoing terrorism investigations related to her alleged connections with terrorism, unauthorized protests were held in the city.

"GOVERNOR, COME OUT HERE"

During the protests, where police teams took extensive security measures, one person attempted to topple the barriers while shouting at the appointed trustee Governor Ekrem Canalp, "We chose this place ourselves, we worked day and night, our people chose this place. We are the people, you are the colonizers, leave this place. Governor, come out here, you are usurping the will of the people. Even Israel is better than you."
