Aysel Türkeş from Malatya went to the hospital with a cough complaint that had lasted for 1.5 years. As a result of the tests conducted, a pumpkin seed was found lodged in her lung. The seed was removed using the bronchoscopy method.
Aysel Türkeş (50), who has been coughing continuously for 1.5 years in Malatya, went to the hospital. As a result of the tests, it was determined that the persistent cough was caused by a pumpkin seed stuck in Türkeş's lung.
Aysel Türkeş, who has been complaining of a cough for about 1.5 years, applied to Battalgazi State Hospital. Dr. Ömer Emre Aşkın, who examined Türkeş, conducted detailed tests with the thought that the patient, who stated that her cough had not improved, might have asthma or COPD.
PUMPKIN SEED DETECTED IN HER LUNG
As a result of the tests, a pumpkin seed stuck in Türkeş's lung was detected. The pumpkin seed in Türkeş's lung was removed through a bronchoscopy procedure. After the procedure, Türkeş regained her health.

Dr. Ömer Emre Aşkın stated that the patient came to them with a complaint of a persistent cough, saying, "In the tests we conducted, we saw a suspicious area. We entered her lungs with a camera through the bronchoscopy procedure and saw a foreign object. We performed an operation to remove the substance identified as a pumpkin seed, and we restored our patient to health." Aysel Türkeş expressed her happiness for regaining her health.
