"I DON'T WANT TO HAVE THE SAME NAME AS NEVZAT"Temel, who stated that he does not want to have the same name as Nevzat Bahtiyar, who hid Narin's lifeless body, said, "Because I share the same name with the person who tortured that child and carried her funeral in Diyarbakır, I applied to the court to change my name. It is not suitable for me or my personality to have the same name as this person. I will change my name to 'Barış' (Peace) so that peace comes to the world." Nevzat Bahtiyar (48), one of the suspects detained in the investigation into the death of 8-year-old Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found after she went missing in Diyarbakır, claimed in his statement to the gendarmerie that his uncle Salim Güran asked him to throw the child's lifeless body into the river for 200 thousand liras.
