It has been revealed why Bülent Ersoy did not attend Ahu Tuğba's funeral.

The unforgettable name of Yeşilçam, Ahu Tuğba, passed away on September 1 in the United States, where she lived with her daughter. After 27 days, her funeral was brought to Istanbul yesterday. A memorial ceremony was held at Beyoğlu Atlas Cinema before the funeral service organized for Ahu Tuğba at Teşvikiye Mosque. Ahu Tuğba's daughter Anjelik Calvin, Nuri Alço, Serpil Çakmaklı, many artists, and her fans attended the ceremony.

"I LOVED MY MOTHER MORE THAN MY OWN LIFE"

Speaking at the ceremony, Ahu Tuğba's daughter Anjelik Calvin said, "What can I say as a child? There is no need to put on a show. We are here to fulfill our duty before God. Imagine a little girl who has dedicated over 40 years to cinema. A girl who loves cinema unconditionally, who loves her country. We are here for her. Thank you, I can't speak, forgive me. Because I loved my mother more than my own life. May God not take her power away, I love her so much, I can't say anything else.'"

"THIS IS THE REASON BÜLENT ERSOY DID NOT ATTEND THE FUNERAL"

Journalist Olcay Ünal Sert recalled the relationship between Ahu Tuğba and Bülent Ersoy during the funeral, bringing up an incident that happened years ago. When asked about an interview where Ahu Tuğba had said years ago that she "caught her husband with Bülent Ersoy," Sert replied, "She said, 'I caught my husband with Bülent Ersoy.' I know both of them were looking for each other, but I don't know if they were able to reach each other. Anjelik also wanted to reach out after the death and asked for her phone number, but...
