The Russia-Ukraine war, now entering its fourth year, has intensified once again. Ukrainian soldiers from the 24th Mechanized Brigade repelled a large-scale Russian attack in the Chasiv Yar region, during which at least 33 Russian soldiers were killed.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi announced that the Russian army has lost approximately 91 thousand soldiers in Ukraine since the beginning of 2025.

Commander Syrskyi emphasized in a written statement on March 6, 2025, that the invaders have been suffering significant losses every day, stating, "Since the beginning of the year, the Russian army's casualties have reached approximately 91 thousand." He also thanked the Ukrainian soldiers for their determination, effectiveness in combat operations, and unwavering belief in Ukraine's victory.

THE TOTAL CASUALTY IN THE WAR IS NEARLY 900 THOUSAND

The Ukrainian General Staff stated this morning that the estimated total military losses of the Russian army between February 24, 2022, and February 7, 2025, is at least 882,950.
