The Ministry of Trade has decided to recall a school uniform that was found to contain chemicals threatening children's health as a result of inspections conducted.
The inspections carried out by the Ministry of Trade continue at full speed. As a result of the inspections, products containing harmful substances are being revealed one by one. The list of products that continues to be published on the Unsafe Product Notification site belonging to the ministry is growing every day.
PARENTS, BE CAREFUL
As a result of the latest inspections, another school t-shirt has been added to the list. The t-shirt has been banned from being sold in the market and a recall decision has been made due to the threat it poses to children's health. The ministry warned parents to be cautious and emphasized that inspections will continue.
STATEMENT MADE
In the statement made regarding the reason for the recall through GÜBİS, it was stated that "According to the Test Report of Ekoteks Laboratory and Supervision Services Inc., the analysis conducted within the scope of the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals has resulted in a failure in the Ecology Tests for Lead (Pb)."
"INSPECTIONS WILL CONTINUE" MESSAGE
The ministry emphasized that all necessary steps will be taken to remove products that pose chemical risks from the market and that inspections will continue without slowing down.
