CHP Erzincan Deputy Mustafa Sarıgül's son Ömer Sarıgül and his wife Revna Sarıgül's ongoing divorce case has made headlines due to the high amounts of alimony and compensation requested.
According to information shared by Müge Dağıstanlı, Revna Sarıgül has requested a total of 1 million 800 thousand TL for their two children and 1.5 million TL for herself, amounting to a monthly alimony of 3 million 300 thousand TL. Additionally, her request for 1.5 billion TL in compensation has drawn attention.
It has been reported that businessman Ömer Sarıgül, who is in the tourism sector, has objected to these requests, stating that it is not possible to meet the requested amounts under the current economic conditions.
ÖMER SARIGÜL PREPARING TO FILE A COUNTER LAWSUIT
As the parties failed to reach an agreement, the process suddenly turned from a consensual divorce to a contested divorce.
It was stated that Revna Sarıgül did not accept the offer presented to her and obtained a restraining order through her lawyer, which resulted in Ömer Sarıgül being unable to see his children for a while. However, the objection made by Ömer Sarıgül's lawyer Sibel Engin was accepted, and the restraining order was lifted as of yesterday.
It has been learned that Ömer Sarıgül is preparing to file a counter lawsuit following the recent developments.
