Following the instructions of President Serdal Adalı, a private plane was sent to England for Agbadou. A 4.5-year contract will be signed with the Ivory Coast defender for an annual fee of 3 million Euros.

The 17 million Euros to be paid for Emmanuel Agbadou will rank second among the highest transfer fees in the history of the black-and-white club, following the transfer of Orkun Kökçü (30 million Euros).
