However, the other runner, while struggling with a security guard at the edge of the field, ended up shedding the last piece of clothing and became completely naked. This situation received a lot of backlash on social media.
The incident occurred last weekend at Eden Park in New Zealand during the Super Rugby match between the Chiefs and the Blues. The Chiefs defeated their opponent 25-14 in the season's opening match.
With 10 minutes left in the match, a naked runner tried to draw attention. The footage shows two people stripping and running onto the field. One managed to escape from the security personnel, while the other began to struggle with an official at the sidelines.
As the naked runner tried to escape, he also shed the last piece of clothing. Unfortunately, an unfortunate situation occurred for the security officer, as the runner's bare bottom ended up in the officer's face.
Fans reacted in shock on social media. One user commented, "I think he got a bit too excited," while another said, "He was completely naked." Another user joked, "He'll spend the rest of the day in the shower," and another added, "His salary for this job is not enough."
Chiefs captain Luke Jacobson, speaking after the match, said he saw the funny side of the incident: "He’s missing a few screws. You have to laugh it off. It’s not ideal for the match, but it didn’t affect us at all. We left it to the security personnel to handle."
Blues captain Patrick Tuipulotu also added, "It didn’t affect what we were trying to do. But I felt sorry for the security officer."
