The series titled "Halef," starring Akın Akınözü and Devrim Özkan, has been put on hold due to economic difficulties and a decline in advertising revenues.
While the casting for the series titled "Halef," signed by OGM Pictures and FARO, is ongoing, a new development has occurred. As the costs of the series rise, television producers are left in deep thought, and "Halef," affected by this crisis, ended before it even began.
AKIN AKINÖZÜ AND DEVRİM ÖZKAN WERE IN THE LEAD ROLES
The preparations for the series, directed by Sinan Öztürk and written by Tunahan Kurt, have been halted. Initially, Ercan Kesal was signed for the role of "Zaro Karslı" in the series, which revolves around a power struggle set in Esenler Bus Station and questions family ties. Later, Akın Akınözü was brought on board for the lead role of "Timur," and Devrim Özkan was signed for the role of "Reyhan." Tansu Biçer, Hazal Türesan, Tansu Biçer, and Derya Karadaş were also among the names mentioned in the project.

According to information shared by Birsen Altuntaş, the series has been put on hold due to a decrease in advertising revenues for channels before the new year and changes in the scheduling plan.
