In Aksaray, a 75-year-old man shot his 51-year-old wife with a gun during a dispute at home. The injured woman was taken to the hospital for treatment, while the attacking husband was arrested. A 75-year-old man, N.D., living in the Kurtuluş neighborhood of the central district of Aksaray, had a dispute with his 51-year-old wife, Ş.D., late last night.
COLLAPSED IN A POOL OF BLOOD
As the argument escalated, N.D., unable to control his nerves, fired a shot at his wife with a gun found in the house. The woman, injured in the arm, collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood, while neighbors who heard the gunshot reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured woman was taken by ambulance to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital, where it was learned that her health condition is good.
ARRESTED
After the incident, the teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch caught N.D. with the weapon used in the crime and took him into custody. After his procedures at the police station, the man was referred to the courthouse today, where he was arrested by the judicial authorities and sent to prison.
